How to Use Converse with Google Chat
1. Overview
Converse works inside Google Chat, allowing users to access learning content, view assigned tasks, ask questions, participate in polls, receive notifications, and engage with team activities without leaving their chat workspace.

4. Set Up Guide
Add Converse to Google Chat

Open the Google Chat application.

Go to Apps and click Find an App.

Search for Bsharp Converse.
-
Click Add.
-
Choose Add to DM (single chat) or Add to Space (group chat).
Converse is now available in the selected chat or space.
5. User View
Users interact with Converse by typing slash commands in Google Chat.
Converse responds with messages or cards inside the chat.
For learning-related actions, users are redirected to the Converse web application to complete the content.
6. Reporting
Reporting is not available within Google Chat.
All reports related to learning, engagement, and usage are available in the Converse web application → Reports section.
Feature Commands

Description: Ask questions and get instant answers from the organization’s knowledge base.
How it works: Type /Answers followed by a question to receive responses in chat.
/Give_badge
Description: Award badges to recognize a colleague’s contribution.
How it works: Trigger the command and select the colleague to send a badge.
/Create_poll
Description: Create quick polls to collect team feedback.
How it works: Launch a poll and gather responses directly in chat.
/Tasks
Description: View tasks assigned to you.
How it works: Displays the latest tasks mapped to the user.
/Learning
Description: Access assigned learning content.
How it works:

Selected content redirects the user to Converse for completion.

Onboarding Your Team

After admin signup, a Join Now card is sent in Google Chat or space.

Team members click Join Now to access Converse.

Admins can also share a direct invite link with users outside the space.
Once joined, users can access all Converse features directly from Google Chat.
To allow teammates to automatically join without needing your approval, ensure that the 'Allow users of the same domain to join automatically' setting is enabled.

How to Use Converse on WhatsApp
1. Overview
This guide explains how users can receive and access learning modules through the Converse WhatsApp bot, enabling learning delivery and consumption directly via WhatsApp.
2. When to Use

When learning modules are shared via WhatsApp notifications

4. Set Up Guide
Complete Your Profile (One-time setup)

Log in to Bsharp Converse.

Go to the Profile section (top right).
-
Add your mobile number in the Profile section.
This step is required to receive WhatsApp notifications.
Launch Learning Modules via WhatsApp (Admin Action)

Ensure the learning module is assigned and published.
-
Click the three dots on the module card.
-
Select Send Reminder.
-
You are redirected to the Training Reminder page.

Choose WhatsApp as the notification channel.
-
Click Send.
The learner will receive the learning notification on WhatsApp.
5. User View

Users receive a WhatsApp notification when learning is sent.

The notification includes a Learn Now link.

Clicking Learn Now opens the module with OTP login.

Learning is completed in the Converse web experience after login.
Access Converse WhatsApp Bot (Learner Action)

Open WhatsApp and open the chat with Bsharp Converse.

Type Hi or Help in the chat.

Select View Courses from the options shown.

Choose one of the following options:

Your Latest Courses – to view recently assigned learning.

Search Your Course – to search for a course by name.

If Your Latest Courses is selected, choose a course from the list displayed.

If Search Your Course is selected, type the course name and then select the course from the list shown.

Receive the course link directly in the WhatsApp chat.

Click the course link to open the learning module and complete it.
Instant Answers (Ask a Question)

Open the Bsharp Converse WhatsApp chat.

Type Help.
-
Select Ask a Question.

Select a Channel (example: Cyber Securities).

Type your question.
-
Receive the response directly in WhatsApp.

Choose Yes or No if prompted for more questions.

Reporting is not available inside WhatsApp.
