Learning of the Day Report

1. Overview

The Learning of the Day (LOTD) Report provides a comprehensive view of learner participation and knowledge trends for daily learning content. It helps organizations understand how consistently learners engage with LOTD, identify knowledge gaps, measure mastery levels, and compare participation across time, teams, and individual users.

This report supports data-driven decisions for improving daily learning effectiveness, content relevance, and learner engagement.

2. When to Use

Use the Learning of the Day Report when you want to:

  • Monitor overall participation in daily learning initiatives

  • Track engagement trends over a selected time period

  • Identify top knowledge gaps and mastery areas

  • Compare learning behavior at company, team, or user level

  • Evaluate the impact of Learning of the Day content over time

This report is useful for admins, managers, trainers, and mentors to assess learning consistency and effectiveness.

3. Concepts

  • Learning of the Day (LOTD): Daily learning content delivered to users

  • Participation: Number of users who attended or consumed LOTD

  • Knowledge Gaps: Areas where learners show lower mastery

  • Knowledge Mastery: Areas where learners demonstrate higher understanding

  • Time Range: Period selected to view learning activity

  • Attributes: User metadata such as designation, department, location, or reporting hierarchy

4. Set Up Guide

The Learning of the Day Report can be accessed from:

Menu → Reports → Learning of the Day → Learning of the Day Report

Once opened, the report is organized into three tabs based on access level:

  • Company

  • Team

  • User

Data Available in the Report

a. Time Range Selection

The report allows analysis across multiple time periods, including:

  • This Week

  • Last Week

  • This Month

  • Last Month

  • This Quarter

  • Last Quarter

  • Last 6 Months

  • Last 12 Months

  • Custom date range (from date to till date)

The selected time range controls all data shown in the report.

b. Topic Selection

You can filter the report by one or more LOTD topics to analyze participation and learning trends for specific content areas.

c. User Selection

The report supports filtering by individual users to view learning participation and trends at a user level.

d. Attribute Filter

Attribute filters allow deeper segmentation of data based on user properties such as:

  • Designation

  • Department

  • Country

  • Coach Email

  • Trainer Email

  • Manager Email

  • State

  • City

Applying attribute filters updates all report sections based on the selected criteria.

e. Learning of the Day Participation

This section shows participation trends using visual representations (graph and chart views).
It reflects how many users attended LOTD over the selected time period.

f. Knowledge Insights Sections

The report includes the following analytical sections:

  • Top 7 Knowledge Gaps – highlights areas where learners struggle most

  • Top 7 Knowledge Mastery – highlights areas with strong learner understanding

  • Detailed Knowledge Gaps – granular view of gap areas

  • Detailed Knowledge Mastery – detailed mastery breakdown

These sections help identify learning priorities and content effectiveness.

5. User View

Company Tab
  • Visible to Admin users

  • Shows aggregated learning data across the entire organization

  • Includes all filters, participation trends, and knowledge insights

Team Tab
  • Visible only to users who have Manager, Trainer, or Mentor access

  • Displays learning data for users mapped under the respective team

  • Structure and sections remain the same as the Company tab, but scoped to the team

User Tab
  • Visible to individual users

  • Allows users to view their own Learning of the Day participation and trends

  • Includes time range selection, topic selection, and participation insights

  • Knowledge gap and mastery sections are visible at the individual level

6. Reporting

The Learning of the Day Report helps stakeholders:

  • Measure consistency of daily learning participation

  • Identify content areas requiring improvement

  • Track learning effectiveness over time

  • Compare engagement trends across teams or individuals

  • Support coaching, mentoring, and training interventions

All insights update dynamically based on selected filters.

  • Review LOTD participation regularly to identify engagement drops

  • Use topic filters to evaluate specific learning initiatives

  • Combine time range and attribute filters for deeper analysis

  • Focus on knowledge gaps to improve future LOTD content

8. Troubleshooting / FAQs

Q: Why is no data shown in the report?
Ensure users have participated in LOTD during the selected time range and filters are not overly restrictive.

Q: Why can’t I see the Team tab?
The Team tab is visible only if you have Manager, Trainer, or Mentor access.

Q: Why can’t users see Company-level data?
Company-level data is restricted to Admin users only.
