What is Company Setup?

Company Setup allows administrators to configure foundational company details and establish core values, ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization.

Step-by-Step Guide: Setting Up Your Company

1. Enter Basic Company Information:

  • Expand the Setup menu in the left-side pane.

  • Select Company.

  • Fill in basic details: Company Name, Country, Preferred Timezone, Company URL, Theme Color, and Company Logo.

  • Company Logo can be uploaded as a .png or .jpg from your local system.

2. Define Company Values:

  • Click the Add button to create a new company value.

  • Enter the Value Name and a brief, clear Description.

  • To modify a value, click the Edit icon; to remove it, use the Delete icon.

Automated Posts

What are Automated Posts?

Automated Posts are messages automatically published by the Converse bot to your company’s feed on specified dates and times, including birthdays, work anniversaries, and daily motivational quotes.

How to Configure Automated Posts:

  • You may set a single time for all automated posts or specify individual times for each type of automated message.

Thought for the Day Setup:

  • Thoughts are automatically published at 9 AM daily unless there’s another event such as birthdays or anniversaries.

  • Select the checkbox to enable Thought for the Day.

Manage Thoughts:

  • Click the View and Edit button.

  • Select the desired month from the dropdown menu at the top.

  • Filter and save your preference of Month(s) as needed.

  • The table displays each thought, date, and the author of the quote. You can select and deselect Thoughts as per your preference.

  • Click "More" under the Status column for detailed editing:

    • Activate or Disable the thought using the Status toggle.

    • Verify or modify the URL of the thought.

    • Specify the Link Type.

    • Click Save when complete.

1. What file formats are supported for uploading a company logo?

Company logos can be uploaded in .png or .jpg formats from your local system.


2. Can I modify company values once added?

Yes, you can modify company values anytime by clicking the Edit icon next to the value.


3. How can I delete a previously added company value?

Simply click the Delete icon next to the respective company value to remove it.


4. What types of automated posts can Converse publish?

Converse publishes automated posts such as birthdays, work anniversaries, and daily motivational quotes (“Thought for the Day”).


5. Can automated posts be set to different times?

Yes, you can either set one common time for all automated posts or specify individual times for each type.


6. How can I enable the ‘Thought for the Day’ feature?

Select the checkbox under Thought for the Day setup to enable automatic posting at 9 AM daily.


7. How do I manage and customize Thoughts for the Day?

Click the “View and Edit” button, select your preferred month(s), and filter or select/deselect thoughts from the displayed table.


8. Can I activate or disable specific Thoughts individually?

Yes, click “More” under the Status column next to each thought and toggle the Status option to activate or disable individual thoughts.


9. How do I link a specific URL to a Thought for the Day?

Under “More,” you can verify or modify the URL and specify the link type associated with each thought.


10. Do automated posts publish even if another event is scheduled for the same day?

No, the Thought for the Day is only posted if there are no other automated events (like birthdays or anniversaries) scheduled on that day.
